As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

Jesus Christ is not only a Redeemer but a sanctifier. You must receive Him in all His offices: as your Prophet to instruct you, your Priest to make atonement for you, and your King to reign over you. If you take Christ as your Saviour but refuse Him as your Lord, you take Christ by halves and that is no taking of Him at all.
