Tobit 10

10
What is Tobit 10 about?

As the days of feasting stretch on, Tobit counts the time anxiously at home in Nineveh, and Anna gives her son up for dead and refuses to be comforted. Tobias, mindful of his parents' grief, presses Raguel to release him, and though his father-in-law would keep him longer, he consents. Raguel gives Sarah half of all he owns and sends the couple off with blessings, charging Tobias to honor her parents as his own. Husband and wife set out for Nineveh, the reunion of the exiled family drawing near under the providence that has guarded every step.
