Genesis 8:1

And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;

And God remembered Noah. To say that God remembered Noah does not mean he had forgotten him, but that God now manifested his care by making the waters to recede. Noah's offering upon leaving the ark shows that true piety begins with gratitude. God's promise not to curse the ground again for man's sake is a covenant of common grace toward all creatures.
