Tertullian points to Christ sitting at the right hand of the Father as proof that the Son is a distinct Person from the Father. The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand" — David thus witnesses two Lords. Stephen saw Jesus standing at the right hand of God, confirming the personal distinction.
