2 Kings 7:9

Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.

Dixeruntque ad invicem : Non recte facimus : hæc enim dies boni nuntii est. Si tacuerimus et noluerimus nuntiare usque mane, sceleris arguemur : venite, eamus, et nuntiemus in aula regis.

καὶ εἶπεν ἀνὴρ πρὸς τὸν πλησίον αὐτοῦ Οὐχ οὕτως ἡμεῖς ποιοῦμεν· ἡ ἡμέρα αὕτη ἡμέρα εὐαγγελίας ἐστίν, καὶ ἡμεῖς σιωπῶμεν· καὶ μένομεν ἕως φωτὸς τοῦ πρωί, καὶ εὑρήσομεν ἀνομίαν. καὶ νῦν δεῦρο καὶ εἰσέλθωμεν καὶ ἀναγγείλωμεν εἰς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ βασιλέως.
