Covers Joshua's conquest of Canaan (the crossing of the Jordan, fall of Jericho, the allotment of the land) and the period of the Judges (Othniel, Ehud, Deborah, Gideon, Jephthah, Samson). Josephus follows the biblical narrative closely while harmonizing chronological difficulties.
