And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark. The faith of Noah is here seen in his prompt obedience. The ark is a type of the Church, in which alone salvation is to be found. The flood is a dreadful testimony of the wrath of God against sin, and a warning to all ages that God is the judge of the world.
