2 Samuel 3:8

Then was Abner very wroth for the words of Ishbosheth, and said, Am I a dog’s head, which against Judah do shew kindness this day unto the house of Saul thy father, to his brethren, and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into the hand of David, that thou chargest me to day with a fault concerning this woman?

Quare ingressus es ad concubinam patris mei ? Qui iratus nimis propter verba Isboseth, ait : Numquid caput canis ego sum adversum Judam hodie, qui fecerim misericordiam super domum Saul patris tui, et super fratres et proximos ejus, et non tradidi te in manus David, et tu requisisti in me quod argueres pro muliere hodie ?

καὶ ἐθυμώθη σφόδρα Ἀβεννὴρ περὶ τοῦ λόγου Μεμφιβόσθε καὶ εἶπεν Ἀβεννὴρ πρὸς αὐτόν Μὴ κεφαλὴ κυνὸς ἐγώ εἰμι; ἐποίησα ἔλεος σήμερον μετὰ τοῦ οἴκου Σαοὺλ τοῦ πατρός σου καὶ περὶ ἀδελφῶν καὶ γνωρίμων, καὶ οὐκ ηὐτομόλησα εἰς τὸν οἶκον Δαυείδ· καὶ ἐπιζητεῖς ἐπ’ ἐμὲ ὑπὲρ ἀδικίας γυναικὸς σήμερον;

This day do I show kindness unto the house of Saul thy father, to his brethren, and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into the hand of David; and yet thou chargest me this day with a fault concerning this woman.
