And he carved thereon cherubims and palm trees and open flowers: and covered them with gold fitted upon the carved work.

Et sculpsit cherubim, et palmas, et cælaturas valde eminentes : operuitque omnia laminis aureis opere quadro ad regulam.

Hebrew

And he carved cherubims, and palm trees, and carved work standing very much out: and he overlaid all with golden plates in square work by rule.
