Covers Solomon's accession, the building of the First Temple, the visit of the Queen of Sheba, Solomon's apostasy, the division of the kingdom under Rehoboam and Jeroboam, and the early kings of Israel and Judah through Ahab and Elijah. Josephus's description of Solomon's Temple supplements the biblical account with Hellenistic architectural parallels.
