Jeremiah 37:14

Then said Jeremiah, It is false; I fall not away to the Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him: so Irijah took Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes.

quam ob rem irati principes contra Jeremiam, cæsum eum miserunt in carcerem qui erat in domo Jonathan scribæ : ipse enim præpositus erat super carcerem.

πάντες οἱ φίλοι σου ἐπελάθοντό σου, οὐ μὴ ἐπερωτήσουσιν· ὅτι πληγὴν ἐχθροῦ ἔπαισά σε, παιδείαν στερεάν, ἐπὶ πᾶσαν ἀδικίαν σου ἐπλήθυναν αἱ ἁμαρτίαι σου.
