Exodus 7:24

And all the Egyptians digged round about the river for water to drink; for they could not drink of the water of the river.

Foderunt autem omnes Ægyptii per circuitum fluminis aquam ut biberent : non enim poterant bibere de aqua fluminis.

ὤρυξαν δὲ πάντες οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι κύκλῳ τοῦ ποταμοῦ ὥστε πιεῖν ὕδωρ ἀπὸ τοῦ ποταμοῦ, καὶ οὐκ ἠδύναντο πιεῖν ὕδωρ ἀπὸ τοῦ ποταμοῦ.
