And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.

Porro Juda, cum venisset ad speculam quæ respicit solitudinem, vidit procul omnem late regionem plenam cadaveribus, nec superesse quemquam qui necem potuisset evadere.

καὶ Ἰούδας ἦλθεν ἐπὶ τὴν σκοπιὰν τῆς ἐρήμου, καὶ ἐπέβλεψεν καὶ εἶδεν τὸ πλῆθος· καὶ ἰδοὺ πάντες νεκροὶ πεπτωκότες ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, οὐκ ἦν σωζόμενος.
