1 Kings 2:29

And it was told king Solomon that Joab was fled unto the tabernacle of the LORD; and, behold, he is by the altar. Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying, Go, fall upon him.

Nuntiatumque est regi Salomoni quod fugisset Joab in tabernaculum Domini, et esset juxta altare : misitque Salomon Banaiam filium Jojadæ, dicens : Vade, interfice eum.

καὶ ἀπηγγέλη τῷ Σαλωμὼν λέγοντες ὅτι Ἔφυγεν Ἰωὰβ εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ κυρίου, καὶ ἰδοὺ κατέχει τῶν κεράτων τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου. καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Σαλωμὼν πρὸς Ἰωὰβ λέγων Τί γέγονέν σοι ὅτι πέφευγας εἰς τὸ θυσιαστήριον; καὶ εἶπεν Ἰωάβ Ὅτι ἐφοβήθην ἀπὸ προσώπου σου, καὶ ἔφυγον πρὸς Κύριον. καὶ ἀπέστειλεν ὁ Σαλωμὼν τὸν Βαναιοὺ υἱὸν Ἰωδᾶε λέγων Πορεύου καὶ ἄνελε αὐτὸν, καὶ θάψον αὐτόν.
