Text Traditions
The eleven Bible text traditions on Anakalypsis: KJV, ASV, WEB, YLT, BSB, Douay-Rheims, the Leningrad Codex, Tischendorf, Septuagint, Vulgate, and the Peshitta.
No single Bible translation carries the whole tradition. The King James renders the text as English Protestants received it in 1611. The Douay-Rheims carries the Latin Vulgate into English for Catholics. Tischendorf preserves the Greek New Testament. The Leningrad Codex preserves the Hebrew Old Testament. The Septuagint is the Greek Old Testament the apostles quote.
Anakalypsis carries all of them and lets you compare any verse side by side across traditions. The differences — where they exist — are where interpretive traditions have historically diverged.
